Home Air Conditioners
Home air conditioners are available in various designs and capacities. There are many to choose from and many factors to consider, insuring you select the best one for your needs. You will find a great deal of information on this site to help you with your decision.
Portable Room Air Conditioners
One of the greatest advantages of portable room air conditioners over window air conditioners is, they can be easily moved anywhere in your home and when not needed they can be stored in a closet or nook out of the way until they are needed again.
Central Air Conditioners
Split air conditioners have two sections; an air handler, which is connected to a duct system inside the home and a condensing unit, located outside of the home. These two components are connected electrically and by refrigeration piping that circulates refrigerant between them.
Window Air Conditioners
Window air conditioners are now much lighter than older models and are easy to mount in most windows. The need for mounting brackets has been virtually eliminated with smaller units. They are also much easier to remove and store during cooler months when they are not needed.
Ductless Air Conditioners
Ductless air conditioners can be installed in residential and commercial locations where there is not enough room for distribution ductwork systems to be installed. These are usually existing homes or businesses where spot cooling is required. A good example of this would be a new room addition in a home or office.
